I am currently a freshmen student with a 3.0 GPA at University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. I'm pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with an expected graduation date of June 2020.The classes that I'm taking to reach my degree include Computer Science, Pre-Calculus, Technical Writing. In Computer Science I am learning how to understand and properly write codes for programs to perform a certain task or tasks in a problem given to me. The current software I am learning on in Computer Science is C++ so far, we have made programs to convert a character to its ASCII value and how to calculate a person’s bonus in salary base on their job title, the level of experience and performance they have shown. In Pre-Calculus, I'm learning how to find the end behavior of a function and how to use synthetic division to divide polynomials. In my Technical Writing class, I am being taught how to correctly write a memo be knowing the appropriate tone, audience, and word choice to use when writing one. I'm always interested in learning new skills that will get me to being successful in my career that I'm pursuing. I'm a visual and hands on learner when learning something new. Also, I'm a determined individual when starting a new assignment and follow through with it till the end.My goals include finishing college with an Electrical Engineering degree to pursue my career.
