At Emcor Facilities Services I worked as a Payroll Specialist, primarily responsible for calculating, evaluating and reporting certified payroll rates. Within this role I managed labor compliance reporting for public works jobs in the state of California. Working alongside project managers and subcontractors, I coordinated the receipt of key compliance documents in order to keep accounts within state and federal guidelines. In addition to certified payroll reporting, I assisted in processing the Viox payroll, which consisted of more than 1,000 employees, performing weekly payroll entry audits and manual data-entry. To improve on-boarding efficiency and task transitions within the department I created training documents and process flow charts as detailed visual aids.

As a Graduate Assistant Coach for the Kansas Wesleyan University Women's Soccer Team, I balanced my time between my MBA coursework and full-time duties with the university. In my coaching role I led a group 35 student-athletes to success and off the field, establishing a culture of high character and high performance. I assisted in preparing and orchestrating detailed training sessions, as well as administering fitness evaluations. During the spring offseason, I designed and implemented the team's strength and conditioning program. During the season I oversaw a weekly study halls, providing academic counseling and keeping students accountable to high standard of performance in the classroom. Part of my role was to aid in the development of our student-athletes and building their confidence and self-efficacy within their respective disciplines. I regularly provided detailed feedback and performed extensive evaluations of our student-athletes' strengths and weakness, along with leadership style assessments and personal goal-setting exercises to tap into each member's sense of intrinsic motivation.My administrative responsibilities consisted of keeping detailed records of transactions and filing expense reports monthly. I researched and book travel accommodations (flights, van rentals, hotels, catered meals etc.) as well as collaborated in scheduling and conducting team events. I coordinated and supervised community outreach events, such as our local district partnership events and summer clinics to resource the Salina YMCA.Throughout the calendar year I went on various recruiting trips to evaluate prospective student-athletes from high schools and junior colleges around the nation. I scheduled, coordinated and hosted campus visits for prospective student-athletes and their parents. Working closely alongside the admissions department we sought to fill our roster with the best possible fit for our program and university.

Volunteered as a mentor with Kidworks after school program, and Compton United youth soccer club in addition to on the field duties.
