Supervise the Analytical Laboratory Team responsible for chemistry and microbiological testingfor release of products, environmental monitoring of clean room and controlled manufacturingareas, product stability program, and product bioburden to effectively maintain regulatorycompliance and achieve Avanos objectives for Safety, Quality and Productivity.2. Track laboratory inventory and make purchases for the lab by communicating with key vendorsand laboratory services.7. Perform and/or assign testing in the internal Clinical laboratory. This includes communicatingwith outside clinicians as requested, promoting fast and efficient transfer of data for the bestpossible impact on patient outcomes. Answer technical questions from staff, marketing, andclinical personnel, as required.8. Manage Analytical Laboratory team activities, schedules, timecards, performance reviews, andfacilitate conflict resolutions along with the Analytical Lab Manager.9. Maintain direct compliance with FDA, NRC, ARRA, ISO, CLIA, and other applicable regulationsand standards within area of responsibility.10. Be an active member of the Internal Audit Team.11. Act as Coordinator for Stability Studies and Environmental Monitoring for the Tucson site.12. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as requested.

Conduct research for the study of oxidative stress on the brains of patients in treatment for ALL as well as for the study of stress on the inflammatory response.
