Strategic oversight and implementation of training and community programs spanning a wide range of age groups including the Teen Council program, fellowship program for recent college graduates/emerging arts administration professionals and technicians as well as volunteer docents. Primary Duties/Highlights: • Program Manager of professional development fellowship program. Responsible for the recruitment and curriculum for 15 individuals from around the country.• Manages the after-school arts immersion, mentor and leadership program, Teen Council. • Producer of annual Teen Theatre Festival, helping youth find their voices through developing and producing new plays.• Develops partnerships/relationships with local and national colleges and universities and youth-focused arts organizations.• Responsible for grassroots fundraising campaigns of up to $10,000 for student leadership programming.

Duties included cultivating relationships with schools, community organizations, local and federal governments and other partners to implement a mix of donated and fee based programs and collaborations. Responsible for print, web and publicity campaigns for community and education programs, including development of photo and video assets. Manages earned income budgets for Community Engagement department and processes registrations, applications, invoices and depositing revenue. Position included teaching and directing in all community engagement departmental programs.

Responsible for creating and enacting comprehensive programmatic training programs, marketing and recruiting potential applicants for all of Arena Stage’s professional development programs for actors, early career arts administrators and production personnel. Includes printed and electronic marketing materials, advertising, database management, partnership development on a local and national level and maintaining organizational and personal commitment to diversity and inclusion. Position included active participation teaching and directing in all community engagement programs as well as representing Arena Stage at university career fairs and community events.
