In my current role as an Engineer Trainee, I have been a proactive and results-driven individual with expertise in coordinating maintenance activities, implementing preventative maintenance best practices, and addressing technical issues promptly to minimize downtime. I have also led projects to mitigate all air, steam, and water leaks throughout the West Sacramento facility to save the plant money and to help lower the cost per case. I have utilized my skills to develop and execute emergency response plans for critical utility shutoffs by providing quick and effective solutions during emergencies. Throughout this role, I have also spent time learning ladder logic in RS Logix500 and RS Logix5000 and how to troubleshoot a machine through the programming side of the machine. I have also spent time with the controls engineer in learning how to do basic functions in a software called Ignition. I support senior engineers in implementing controls and equipment upgrades, managing contractors, meeting with customers, to ensuring equipment aligns with the industry’s highest standards. My most recent project has consisted of conducting a team of contractors in a root cause analysis. I focused on facilitating the day-to-day operations of the Chancellor’s office through efficient management and streamlining of office inventory.
