About Anthony Wood

I am a Director level program delivery specialist with eighteen years track record in successfully delivering large programmes of organisational change.I have designed and implemented enterprise level Program Management offices in four organisations.I have extensive knowledge and experience in programme design, set up and management. The design and initiation of change programmes is one of the critical factors in change success. The identification and clarity of what is to be achieved allowing the program management organisation to be underpinned by a realistic and achievable business case, leading to good planning, team selection and building, change, risk and stakeholder management are factors that are often misunderstood and underplayed.I am passionate about implementation, the difference, in my view, between good and great organisations is often found in executional capability. My experience of five major integration and six significant business transformation programmes has yielded knowledge about how they need to work to answer the inevitable contentions that will emerge very quickly. I understand the difference between those programmes that will be successful and those that will not meet expectations. My objective is to lead or act within a lead team context to successfully design, initiate and manage step change that will accelerate organisations significantly toward their strategic goals and set the organisation on a sustainable path to excellence.

This was the programme to build and implement the new back-office operating model.The program delivered the new model in nine months which included, integration of product sets, significant change to IT production platform, facilities rationalisation, staff training, IT infrastructure roll out to RACV retail network, network upgrades, stakeholder management, implementation management and post go-live management. The program was implemented with minimal disruption to either organisation.
