Leading all aspects of the business, I (co)own and run an online Craft Retail Business. We design, manufacture and provide stamps, dies, stencils and all the tools needed for the Craft industry with customers based all around the world.We regularly appear on TV shopping channels and have partnered with trade providers in the UK, Europe and USA. We deliver weekly YouTube and Facebook lives, send out newsletters and appear on all social media platforms. I manage the warehouse, pack orders, complete stock checks, respond to enquires via all social media platforms as well as through the website. An important part of my role is organising attendance at the various Craft Fayres in the UK such as Crafting Live.I help manage the administrative side of the business; controlling costs, dealing with invoices, organising large trade orders shipping to outside of UK.

The main role of a frontline Firefighter is an extremely varied one. I respond to emergency situations including domestic and industrial fires, wildfires, road traffic collisions, water, animal and bariatric rescues as well as chemical and terrorist threats and/ or attacks to list a few. I have a large amount of knowledge and proven expertise to deal with these incidents which require me to use specialist equipment, kit and provide medical assistance.I spend a large amount of my time out in the local community conducting home safety checks, installing smoke/ heat alarms, visiting schools or groups to provide advice and education on the prevention of fire and staying safe. I visit businesses (large and small) and gather information so that we can manage the risk at these premises appropriately should an emergency ever occur. More recently, I worked with the SYFR Corporate Communications Team to create and develop short, educational videos using TikTok. This had a significant effect, increasing their following exponentially as they became the most followed fire brigade account on the social media platform.When on station, I inspect, clean and maintain equipment, carry out practice drills and complete e-learning training to maintain competence within my role.

I was lead officer on the Induction wing - here my role involved preventing disturbances, assaults and breakouts by supervising activities and work assignments of prisoners. Supervising, managing and controlling prisoners lawfully, safely and securely and escorting prisoners on external visits, such as to the hospital or court.I also inspect facilities to ensure they meet security and safety standards and worked with prisoners to help them prepare for release.

I created a commercially successful catering business with my Partner. Within a short time frame, we built a reliable and regular customer base, saw more than a 45% profit and became established as an important part of the local community. This resulted in us selling on the business for 500% its original value two years after purchase.(Co)owning a quirky tea shop in my local village, I lead all aspects of the business. I coordinated daily Front of House and Back of House operations, strived for excellence and maximised customer satisfaction in every interaction. Working with my Partner, we created an environment which provided high quality fresh food and drinks, Afternoon Tea as well as hosting private parties, baby showers and regular mediumship evenings.

This was a short-term temporary role whilst I set up my own catering business. I completed 1-to-1 and Group PT sessions as well as Bootcamps, Strength Camps, Spin, Tabata, HIIT and Circuit training.

I completed a three month temporary contract where my main priority was organising training events around the UK for those in careers guidance roles within universities.I also completed a process mapping project, implementing an efficient and effective approach to all training events and conferences. This included creation of templates and guides to help with the transition to an online booking process.

I coordinated L&D technical and skills offerings for 2000+ UK staff and managed logistics for international events. Managing two practice groups, I worked with them to review and organise their annual training programmes delivering effective and quality training via blended learning methods.I delivered train the trainer Online Facilitation Skills sessions to an international audience using Microsoft Lync/ Skype for Business and also managed the Learning Management System administering the Firm's Risk E-learning Training Programme, coordinating monthly completion reports to the board.
