I am a UX Evangelist and a champion of building user-centered cultures in cross-functional organizations.I have five years of experience in design leadership, building design systems, creating end-to-end prototypes, and performing exploratory research and usability tests.I am an expert in platform and product design, design systems, and communication across multiple stakeholders. I have a proven track record in designing end-to-end workflow, creating design systems from the ground up, and establishing UX practices in development-focused organizations.My UX approach consists of three main parts: Empathetic curiosity about user needs in research and requirements, encouraging users to speak their minds about products and platforms, and contextualizing their needs, pain points, and goals around current and ideal workflows.Laser-focus on user goals when designing solutions, ensuring any requirements from Product or other research ties back to what the users hope to accomplish.Cross-functional collaboration across multiple stakeholders to ensure cognizance of the UX process across the organization and promote active involvement in areas such as ideation, interviewing, and usability testing.What sets me apart is my understanding of technical aspects of product and platform design in addition to bringing others into the UX process. I have a great deal of experience performing edits to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance user experiences and ensure expediency in the delivery of solutions to production. This has given me an understanding of developer goals, such as ease of implementation via utilized frameworks, and it has helped me develop my communication skills with developers and other stakeholders to ensure pixel-perfect, user-focused solutions.
