As Operation Manager for an OEM Company that produces Machining Centers, I had to take care of that process phase that starts on the needs for the sold product and stops when the Final Customer signs the final acceptance of the Machine. Starting from the Logistics, that means materials planning, purchasing, warehouse, quality control; and going to the Customer through Production, that means subassembly, assembly, shipment and installation on Customer site.

As I started working in Riello Sistemi Group, at first I was in charge for Logistics in both the Italian plant of the Group, that is management of materials planning, purchasing, warehouse, quality control and shipment, at Mandelli plant and Riello plant. Two different team were collaborating to reach the goal.The main synergies had to be built in Purchasing, as the class of commodities were the same, nevertheless the Machines are actually differentent.

My direct reports were the BU’s COO.

I was in charge for Body in White BU Value Analysis at Comau SpADuring these two years, my main responsibilities were related to: - Value analysis on Standard Products together Engineering Standard Dept. in order to define Framework agreements with preferred suppliers for standards products; - Low Cost Country scouting;- new estimating system development and management for sales, common for Europe and USA branches.

This people inside the Project Team was in charge for planning and control of both time and costs of the project through three important scheduled, actual and to complete set of data.
