Well-qualified professional with research and program management expertise of more than 8 years in programs curtailing to wetlands, biodiversity, and ecosystems conservation. I'm presently working with KPMG – India as an Associate Consultant involved in their water team, advisory, and the project with client NMCG (National Mission for Clean Ganga). I deal with reviewing project proposals primarily for wetland conservation while ascertaining ESG compliances, MEL, and gap analysis of the project implementations; additionally, projects related to biodiversity & and afforestation are also dealt with. Previously I’ve been working with Ashoka Trust for Research in Ecology and the Environment (ATREE) and contributing to the inception and progressive goals of its center on wetland and estuarine systems that resulted in biodiversity conservation and livelihood planning. Over the years I have contributed across multiple verticals of research and program management alongside ESG. Several of the projects I worked which were nationally, internationally, or CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) funded projects on climate change adaptation and mitigation were used as the basis for government policy and biodiversity. It further extended to policy liaising and decision-making exercises while working with governmental agencies concerning biodiversity. I've published a book as well as contributed to several peer-reviewed publications with a focus on aspects of biodiversity conservation.
