• Handled a complete new feature testing individually right from Requirements gathering phase to Test Case design and its execution. This feature was focused on optimization of disk performance at the Storage Array level based on I/O activity from the host end. This has been an ongoing activity from last 9 months.• Designed testing scenarios for “Power Supply and Disk failures”, which can automatically detect these failures and provide all the required information to the Product Support Engineers (through Symmetrix Reporting Tool ) while handling the failing scenario with a Filed Replacement Unit till the time the failed unit is repaired and ready for use again. I worked on this activity with Development and QA groups for around 4 months.• Responsible for designing the configuration of the Storage Array which includes configuring various protection types that reside on the disks, Host connectivity to Front end (ports) and mapping various protection types to a single Host thereby providing access to these volumes to only that particular host.
