This project also has an in-house tool to be used by a non-technical person at the customer site for add/edit/publish/delete client related documents. The admin can specify access permissions for each document. There are 2 types of users who will be using the Document Management Tool (DMT) namely the Editors and Publishers. The published documents for the trusts can be seen by the customer website users. Among the various features provided by the DMT, a few of them include the ability to add a document for a trust under a specific header, specify which roles can access the document once it is published, specify visibility dates for the document, edit the document, remove the document, re-order the document/header sequence, etc.This project followed agile development process using Test Driven Development. In order to ensure the security of the application, the deployment of this web site was done using 128 bit encryption and data transmission through SSL. Further, the App server part of the application was deployed on a DMZ environment and the web server communicated to the app server using COM+ proxies as well as web services. Show less
