Reviewing the tender documents / contract conditions / scope of works. Collecting the contract drawings and evaluating the cash flow for the entire duration ofthe Project. Preparation of Bills of Quantities, deriving unit costs for the lump sum items andestablishing the unit rates. Assisting in material procurement, Suggesting central stores for placing the orders forlong lead and cost effecting materials. Notifying the design changes / clarifications instructed by the client. Evaluating the VOs/RFIs/NCRs issued by the Engineer and notifying the engineer /client regarding the cost / time implication. Estimating and Evaluating the Budgets for the variations issued by the Engineer. Preparation of Interim claims for the project. Monitor work progress, Constraints and Delay factor analysis in advance for propercoordination. Perform engineering reviews of various engineering drawings, specifications, contractsdocumentation and other presentation. Marking various types of field changes on drawings. Processing of Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) for Consultants, Suppliers andContractors Check and verify the prepared payment certificates done by Asst. / Jr. Q.S. for finalrecommendation. Project cost control and monitoring – Monitor and have the Sr. Development Managerinform with regards to the up to date status of the project cost against the budget,variations & claims including the payments of the Consultants, Suppliers and Contractor. Responsible for preparation of Monthly Commercial Monitoring Report of the project. Responsible for facilitation of written instructions (Employer’s RepresentativeInstruction–ERI) for the Consultants, Suppliers and Contractors if there is a change inthe contract conditions or design planning. Evaluation of quotations / proposals for some additional major item of works.
