After obtaining an undergraduate degree in Physics, I pursued my passion to help people through becoming a teacher. After a year in the role, I realized that teaching did not provide a sufficient level of satisfaction for me to remain in the field long-term.Upon leaving teaching, I taught myself several skills including programming, query analyses methods, and a full data science pipeline from extraction to final visualization output. Through this learning endeavor, I found a love for Data Science and began to pursue that as a career. Within the first five years as a Data Scientist, I completed a Master's of Science in Computational Data Analytics from Georgia Tech, transferred an entire pipeline between multiple systems, and optimized several modeling steps to produce faster and more accurate results.
