All aspects of Process Engineering from initial conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design development, P&ID development, data sheet preparation, process design calculations,safety/hazard studies, commissioning, debottlenecking, troubleshooting and technical support. Process Engineer on a wide range of projects in the oil/gas (both onshore & offshore) and pharmaceutical industries for a number of companies including Centrica Storage Ltd, BP, SSE, Novartis, and Reckitt BenckiserLead Process Engineer on a £5million+ extension of an existing gas receiving facility to accommodate production of gas and liquids from a new offshore field development. Process safety studies, including HazOp, HazID, LOPA, risk assessment and HSE reviews. Use of ABB TRAC and HazOp Manager V6.0 software. Completion of IChemE approved HazOp & LOPA Leader courses. Ability to lead safety reviews (HazOp, LOPA etc) and manage action completion post review. Knowledge of BS EN 61508 & 61511 and their requirements. Good knowledge of both onshore & offshore gas operations for UK continental shelf installations. HYSYS to model gas processing operations including, compressors, liquid separation processes etc to review anticipated performance and for optimisation studies. Fluent in the use of AFT Arrow & AFT Fathom computer packages to model compressible and in-compressible pressure systems.Commissioning multi-million pound projects in both pharmaceutical and onshore/offshore O&G environments.
