At the National Academies, I manage a congressionally-mandated roundtable ($5M / 5 yrs) to support the Intelligence Community and Science agencies in analyzing environment-related risks to national security. I also co-manage a congressionally-mandated study on the Environmental and Socioeconomic Effects of Nuclear War.

In the Office of Environmental Quality, I was the principal action officer for the design, administration, and oversight of foreign assistance programming ($7M, 12 projects, 25 countries) to strengthen environmental monitoring and pollution management in developing countries.
