During my junior year, I was involved in “Optimization of Truck Logistics”, a research project implemented to optimize the time of arrival, departure, loading and unloading the trucks using operation scheduling theory.My contribution to this project was adjudged the best and yielded me “Project Achiever”award from the Department of Industrial Engineering.I have also fortified my career path by doing an internship in the renowned organization Mahendra Submersible Pumps Private Limited, one of the leading pump manufacturers in India.This experience gave me an exposure to the world of industry where I was given hands-on training on different types of pumps and industrial practices. Employing my acquired knowledge during the course of my study, I published a paper “Classification of banks using AHP” in which I have a proposed an algorithm to rank the banks based on customer satisfaction (CSAT), location, online survey data, low fees, high ROI, ATM hours and mobile app features.I was exposed to Multi-criteria decision making approach that helped me achieve a highly efficient and robust.My prominent experience in my machine learning lab helped me acquire a deep expertise knowledge in data analytics,R, Python, accounting management and Minitab.I made additional efforts to improve my knowledge in clustering algorithms, regression analysis and Naive Bayes classifier.My experience in linear programming and statistical analysis using R deepened my interest to apply data science to solve complicated issues.My learning significantly improved my understanding of the subject and enhanced my fascination for quantitative analytics, and decision optimization.I would like to explore and solve industrial problems accurately and efficiently by approaching the data with business intelligence.Having gained broad data analytics experience with my projects and courses,I want to gain more experience and knowledge on Map Reduce, Hadoop,Spark,Storm and advanced Machine Learning techniques.
