I am an experienced business analyst and a highly motivated problem-solver who thrives on mastering challenges, whether as a member of a team or as a team leader. For the past 12 years as a BA, I have leveraged my complex understanding of systems engineering concepts to work with many clients across multiple products and have proven successful history of product management, process analysis, process planning, research, analyse, and evaluate existing business processes and procedures, design solutions requirement gathering and analysis, prototyping, technical writing, user acceptance testing, define acceptance criteria, stakeholder identification, generating and building relationships, agile methodologies, and managing IT business systems from concept to completion, and ensure timely project development and implementation by clients/users to achieve project goals, in a range of domains.I have developed my career along 4 distinct but closely integrated lines: Business Analysis; IT; Teaching; and Administration. In Business Analysis, I have focused on developing a strong theoretical understanding of BA concepts and practices, and their application in product development and improvement, and business process re-engineering, in particular through the development of IT business applications. In IT, I have focused on developing a broad knowledge base, focusing on Cyber Security, through professional programs, higher degree study, and research. As an Administrator, I am diligent and efficient, with a good grasp of policy and process. As a team member, I work well with colleagues, in the direction established by the team leader. As a team leader and manager, I communicate and collaborate well with other administrative divisions, external service providers, and members of my team. I seek to develop my team members’ strengths and encourage an active interest in the acquisition of new knowledge and skills, a capacity to think creatively, and a problem-solving approach to challenges.As a Teacher, I have sought to develop ways to communicate clearly both the theoretical and applied aspects of my knowledge area of IT and to cultivate in my students an appreciation of the connection between theory and application, and a commitment to using their knowledge for problem-solving.
