About Ari Sonnenberg

As a Clinical Research Associate (CRA) at Premier Research, I provide site management and monitoring for clinical trials in various therapeutic areas currently encompassing Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson's disease, and Stem Cell and Gene Therapy. I work with a Bayer Pharmaceuticals subsidiary and an Alzheimer’s focused pharmaceutical sponsor. I specialize in on site monitoring, managing MRI/CT imaging within TMF and EDC platforms, and query and data management; in addition to various other facets of clinical research operations within the field of neuroscience. I have a BA in Biological Anthropology and Religious Studies from the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I studied Mendelian inheritance, evolutionary biology, and evolutionary medicine. I am passionate about the groundbreaking field of cell and gene therapies for neurological indications. These types of trials are of great interest to me as they have the unique potential to entirely alter the way we approach neuroscience research, both from the perspective of the patient and healthcare provider. I have also previously acted as the sole operations consultant for a COVID-19 treatment within a start-up operation with physicians at the University of California, San Diego. I have over 4 years of experience in clinical research, with previous roles as an In House CRA here at Premier, CTA at Vanguard Clinical and Evolution Veterinary Specialists, and working at a local site directing their patient recruitment program.
