My focus this most recent semester was on teaching students how to practically apply AI models and strategies to a variety of industries. The first half of the semester the students were taught AI fundamentals and their utilization. The second half of the semester the class was divided into teams and competed to win an entrepreneurial AI business plan competition where they have to conceive of and build a prototype of an AI-oriented app. The teams presented their prototypes at Google's AI campus in Seoul to an esteemed group of venture capitalists and business owners who voted on the winner.

Fincross is pioneering a world-first in investment banking; creating the bridge between the traditional banking world and digital banking, including the use of distributed ledger technology. I led the team that designed and built a number of Fintech solutions, including a suite of AI Deep Learning cryptocurrency engines (market pair prices, volatility, and sentiment analysis), a custom distributed banking ledger, blockchain analysis tools, cold and hot wallet storage backends, and integration into multiple core banking systems.

Key member of the executive technical sales team responsible for Microsoft’s single largest account worldwide. Lead pre-sales principal and technical architect managing numerous multi-million dollar deals covering many solutions including .NET, service oriented architectures, web services, enterprise application integration, enterprise program and project management, portal and content management services, software migration, mainframe integration, computer-telephony integration and much more.

Founded an MIT startup that built the AlertWire Mobility platform for the delivery of next-generation Web services targeted to the mobility needs of the legal, medical and financial industries. Lead visionary, strategist and hands-on technical manager. Managed technology team consisting of 11 engineers. Oversaw contract and vendor agreements, project implementations, technical hiring, budgeting, training and administration of $1.3MM R&D budget. Developed the technical and functional specifications for the platform, provided mentoring and software development training and directly wrote the code responsible for large portions of the security, communications, integration, network proxy and GUI systems. Invented and authored six patents covering business methods as well as technology.
