The client I am currently working for is WA Police. At WA Police, I am the Technical Specialist for Database Administration with an NV2 clearance, currently involved a massive database upgrade project for the IMS application. This runs on a 19c Oracle database with a two node RAC configuration using flexASM on 2 Oracle Data Appliances (ODA)Successfully.

• Taking on the whole gamut of installing Oracle software, patching, database creation after fine tuning the initialization parameters, automating RMAN backups and having ready documentation for all kinds of recovery.
• Configured backups using Enterprise Manager Cloud Control for all databases.
• Set up database auditing in all production databases to maintain audit standards as deemed necessary by external auditors. Also set up a unix cronjob using shell scripts to send a weekly audit report to management.
• Configured Block Change Tracking and introduced incremental backups to replace full daily backups saving nearly 2 TB of disk space.
• Conduct regular normal database clones, using RMAN and manual methods - full offline database clones and RMAN clones using an online backup.
• Conduct E-Business Apps Rel12 clones on a regular basis keeping the Dev/Test/Training and UAT databases in sync with production.

• Installed and upgraded People Tools from Version 8.47 to 8.48 which involved configuring PeopleSoft Tools, Application and Web Servers (PIA) using BEA Tuxedo and WebLogic)
• Cloning Peoplesoft databases and creating new Peoplesoft environments from scratch.
