- Worked on LLVM / Clang based compiler for a power efficient microcontroller- Implemented tail call optimization for compiler which saved the processor 4 cycles per instance of a tailcall- Used FileCheck to write tests to ensure correct behavior at various passes during compilation- Learned the DWARF debugging file format to fix gaps in compiler’s debug support - Added DWARF call frame instructions to support stack unwinding while debugging- Contributed to the LLVM open source project by adding support for emitting a particular DWARF call frame instruction

- Wrote Python + SQL code to extract, load, and transform data from solution backend databases into Redshift- Migrated data pipeline from cron jobs to Airflow to make scheduling data workflows scalable and more robust- Converted views in data warehouse to derived tables to improve data retrieval performance- Researched and integrated Data Build Tool (DBT) with Airflow to make building the data pipeline easier through SQL models and allow for scalability through table dependencies

- Developed a production level feature that allows retail clients to verify that their customers received a receipt with the correct marketing campaign information on it after making a purchase- Used the Spring framework to create backend endpoints for this feature to retrieve the information and used Amazon S3 to store the campaign data- Created a view in React that made API calls to the backend and displayed this campaign information in the frontend- Utilized Agile methodology and product management topics such as Scrum and Kanban along with version control tools such as Bitbucket- Learned to run and manage Docker containers and became familiar with the code deployment process using Kubernetes- Built a Datadog dashboard that allows the ability to filter API errors by merchant id
