Institute for the Global Entrepreneur is a UCSD startup accelerator for UCSD students, alumni and faculty. There are 74 startups in angle and seed-stage primarily focused on the health, security and 3D domains. Responsible for mentoring startups for Software, Tech Validation and AI.

GovIQ has built the world’s first AI based automated foreign language call routing system for Emergency Management/911 departments. Routing foreign language calls to an appropriate respondent is a challenge in many industries. GovIQ develops language detections models to be used by Emergency Management departments. GovIQ's LanguageIQ software is able to identify 180 languages with >92% accuracy with <15 seconds of spoken audio. LanguageIQ is currently being piloted by City of San Francisco Emergency Management (911) Department. GovIQ is backed by Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.

- Leading a team of 14 software engineers spread globally across 4 HP sites located in the US, Brazil, India and China in various software disciplines including Machine Learning, Full Stack, Mobile, Firmware and DevOps.- Defined engineering processes focused on customer requirements driven by Lean Methodologies, Agile, DevOps, and continuous delivery.- The project is to deliver a software platform for a new HP device to disrupt health industry with an ability to intelligently navigate, do telepresence, perform voice interactions, interface with IoT devices and on-the-edge machine learning inference. The device is to be offered on DaaS (Device as a Service) model.- Delivering a new HP software device platform built using over 40 cloud services and mobile applications on time and on budget.- The project involves architecting and engineering mobile applications, device SDKs, browser applications, microservices, firmware, custom Android ROM, scaled backend infrastructure, machine learning inference services, databases, voice interfaces, DevOps infrastructure, and security.Responsible for defining architectural guidelines, support strategies, integration with various HP backend services, engineering processes and standards.- Interfacing with multiple teams including Business, Research, UX, Hardware and Firmware to influence vision for software platform and products.- Filed over 10 invention patents in Machine Learning and Immersive Computation domain.Tools: TensorFlow, Python, NodeJS, Java (Android), VueJS, WebRTC, ROS, Jenkins, Sentry, AWS, Golang, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Docker, ElasticSearch, Kibana, Grafana and Jira

Leading a group of Software Engineers spread across 3 locations to develop high volume Web Services. This involves product roadmapping for developers and architecting key algorithms and operations workflows. We do test driven development in Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and Go using agile methodologies. Also involved in doing market research and presentations in Print Relevance area to impact HP’s corporate strategy planning. This involves market segmentation, customer outreach, aligning with key 3rd party research and finally presenting business case and go to market strategy to the senior management.The product was introduced in the Google Chrome M48 and other browsers including Firefox, Safari and Edge in 2016.
