- Oversee the entire operation of the restaurant; ensures team morale and restaurant ambiance is being upheld - Primary architect in developing plans to drive sales by leading the team to provide consistent execution and exemplary service to our guests on a daily basis - Confidently handle guest complaints, concerns, service issues, and incident reports with grace; focuses on finding solutions and resolving issues quickly- Share responsibility with management team to follow all manager opening and closing procedures, profit and loss statements, budgets, cost controls in regards to food, beverage, and labor budget, including banking, cash handling policies, loss prevention audits, and office paperwork - Monitor restaurant equipment and ensures it is kept in good repair. If items break down, makes sure they are repaired as quickly as possible - Leader in conducting and reviewing daily/weekly inventory, inputting and reconciling food orders, writing team member schedules, execution of upcoming initiatives, marketing promotions, and local store marketing events- Maintains cleanliness and organization of all areas of the restaurant by following up with team members to ensure cleaning checklists are being followed - Takes lead role in learning and development, recruiting, interviewing, hiring and retaining a team of all top performers; conducts New Hire Orientation and Welcome Day- Has an exemplary understanding of HR policies and procedures and is able to lead difficult conversations, manage team member’s performance and resolve potential conflicts amongst team members in a confidential manner- Implemented new statistics-based system to determine efficiency ratings for each staff member based on monthly revenue totals and individual discount/void averages, as well as qualitative measurements of service quality and development potential in order to better understand and develop team members.
