As a result of the changing market model and the centralization of data, processes and organization together with other grid operators, the current application landscape has become redundant and historically grown complex. Stedin decided to simplify its SAP application landscape. I am an IT consultant facilitating this process and adding value with experience in IT architecture. Refining the epic into features that can be prioritized in PI plannings is part of the job.

As part of the Energy Transition towards more sustainable energy it is important that the allocation and settlement processes (and balancing the grid) are based on realistic energy profiles (consumption and production). One of the goals of the Allocatie 2.0 program is to base change the allocation method from fixed profiles to the use of Smart Meter data. I am responsible for implementing the program at Liander (one of the seven Dutch regional grid operators).

The goal of the C-ARM program is the Centralization of Allocation, Reconciliation and Metering for the 7 Dutch regional grid operator. The program consists of a system built by EDSN (Energy Data Services Netherlans). One by one the grid operators will migrate the data in their decentral systems to the central solution. At the same time processes are aligned along the 7 grid operators to facilitate the Dutch energy market parties.As Program Manager for Liander I am responsible for the transition of the decentral way of working to the central way of working (business implementation, migration, transition, coupling decentral systems to the central system), and most of all for the alignment with EDSN and the 6 other grid operators.
