Serve as a consultant and strategic business partner for all human resource activity for the Brunswick Nuclear Plant in Southport, NC.Advise customer leadership on organizational design, succession planning, employment law, recruitment and selection, diversity and inclusion, talent development, compensation, performance management, employee relations, labor relations, and company policy and practice application.Handle sensitive human resource issues such as discrimination, harassment, disciplinary actions, terminations, dispute resolutions, and EEOC charges.

My current role sources / recruits candidates for Progress Energy's Nuclear Generation Fleet. This inlcudes Harris, Robinson Brunswick, and Crystal River Nuclear Plants as well as Nuclear Engineering in Raleigh, NC and New Project Construction.

•Review Resumes to identify candidates for highly technical job openings•Provide guidance and assistance to managers regarding recruitment practices from start to finish•Assist as needed in the offer negotiation process•Screen candidates by phone and email to determine their fit for the organization•Act as a main point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process•Search on external resume boards to find qualified candidates
