Risk-Based Pricing Optimization: I’ve developed statistical models to inform strategies for customer sizing based on loan and payment levels, factoring in perceived risk and affordability. This optimization maximizes portfolio returns for both installment and revolving credit products.A/B Testing: I spearhead our product-related A/B tests to experiment with various product characteristics, such as term lengths, loan amounts, rates, suppression, and stepping strategies. This optimization aims to refine product structure across states and customer segments, enabling data-driven decision-making. As part of this, my responsibilities include analyzing past product performance to identify opportunities, formulating hypotheses and testing populations, and collaborating with the Decision Sciences team to implement changes through testing and production. Post-launch, I manage reporting to track changes in KPIs across control and test groups, evaluate performance to identify the best-performing variants, and assess how product changes impact customer behavior. This process involves automating data pipelines and real-time monitoring via Tableau dashboards.Product Portfolio Performance Analysis: I assess product performance from both financial and credit risk perspectives to identify key drivers and growth opportunities. This role involves conducting scenario analyses to monitor portfolio KPIs and customer behavior patterns at a unit economics level, pinpointing crucial opportunities for profit growth and strategic enhancements.Machine Learning: I’m currently developing a risk-based amnesty model for the repeat customer segment with prior write-off loans. This model will identify profitable segments and increases revenue by strategically boosting originations. The model is trained on over 900 custom-engineered features derived from past loan performance and customer behavior data.

As a legal fiduciary Board member, I review the financial health and make executive decisions for ASUCLA Services and Enterprises, a non-profit organization that has provided retail and student union services since 1919 and manages a multi-million dollar budget with more than $120 million in annual global sales and over $70 million in annual campus services serving over 45,000 students.As the Chairman, I represent the Board to all internal and external campus entities in all official business matters.
