Patent Services: Patent prosecution, with a first focus in chemistry and biotechnology, but also on mechanical devices, particularly those used to conduct chemical, medical or biotechnological processes; Pharma work has included new chemical entities, formulations, and methods of treating and making; Counseling on right-to-use questions, including, where appropriate, researching and rendering non-infringement and invalidity opinions; Drafting requests for re-examination.Intellectual Property Transactions: Substantial experience in drafting and negotiating licenses, patent-related sections of asset purchase agreements, joint development agreements, non-disclosure agreements, and the like; Drafting or reviewing clinical trial agreements; Outside reviews of patent portfolios that are proposed to be sold or licensed.
