This was a summer project supervised by a professor from the University of Surrey, with the intention of studying applications for the Internet of Things. The Android app aimed to measure real-time demographic densities, where mobile devices would function as a smart grid to allow the study of population distribution, and with possible future applications for society. The project was not fully completed. Case study activities were carried out, and the development of the mobile application on Android was started.
