He obtained his Bachelor of Technology (Mechanical Engineering) from the College of Military Engineering, Pune/ JNU, New Delhi and his Master in Strategy from Madras University as also 2 years PGDBA in HR from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. He is also a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers of India and a Honorary Life Member of Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI), the apex industry body for the private security industry in India.
