 Accounts receivable in US Healthcare provider business(Revenue cycle management Balancing the charges based on the Cash totals that get transferred from Charge entry system to Billing system. Billing claims through EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) & analyzing EDI rejections front end rejections / denials of invoices. Generating register reports to track the amount of claims submitted & based on which the revenue forecast is done. Record and manage the day-to-day operations of accounting transactions. Resolving issues based on the payer / insurance specific issues. Handling client calls for special queries related to escalations, process updates a. Work on client Accounts Receivables and make sure bills are reimbursed by insurance company on time. Handle Calls and update records with latest information given. Liaison on behalf of Cognizant Technology services between clients, Commercial Health Insurance Companies. Work on denied and rejected claims and reverse the denials. Generating the cash reports, analyzing and giving feedback to clients. Working on the cash pending reports and follow up with payers till payments. Assist external audit team in any special audit assignment the company is subject to. Trained 5 batches on the client application and also on process training. Handled responsibilities & team like Transmissions and Correspondence.A/R Follow-up: Run insurance ageing report and prioritize the AR bucket to be analyzed & follow-up. Based on the ageing we run insurance pending report and assign the work order. We check the status on call or website. For every three days we go back and check the claim run report and we will target the less percentage paid runs. Internally we respond to quires from payment posting team on daily basis. We download call center f/w from the base camp on daily basis and respond to the questions.
