Roles & Responsibilities: • Responsible for inspection of incoming bop material from vendors (casting, forging, machining, sheet metal, rubbers, plastics& spring materials) in target time (24 hrs.).• Responsible for layout inspection of new parts during development.• Responsible for handling In house line complaints due to BOP’s. • Responsible for achieving and monitoring Supplier Quality Rating target & Rejection PPM level of suppliers & prepare action plan for improvements for worst suppliers.• Raising Defect Analysis Report in case of non conformity in receiving material & follow up for implementation of CAPA at supplier end & verification of effectiveness of preventive action time to time.• Prepare action plan against line complaints and working towards reduction in rejection ppm by implementation of corrective action & preventive action at line & supplier end.• Responsible for supplier PPAP documents verification & submission in target time for new development parts. .• Preparation of inspection standard for incoming bought-out parts & review time to time.• Working as a member of DOL process team for cost saving and time saving.• Continuously working towards Quality & productivity improvements by managing several organization wide activities Kaizen & Group Kaizen activities (GKA), Suggestions, 5’S , Cost saving ideas .
