My expertise lay in the overlapping domains of sensors, raw data and creating technology to gain scientific insights. I can realize a research project from ideation, through planning and acquiring raw data, signal/ image processing to extracting valuable insights. My technical background lies in analysis of time-frequency dynamic spectra, interferrometry, Fourier imaging, pattern recognition and modeling. I have 8+ years' experience in energy industry, along with background in higher education and academic research.Till recently I built technologies for Shell enabling 24x7 reservoir monitoring, and exploring deep learning networks to suppress coherent noise in audio data.In my previous role at LOFAR (next-gen radio telescope in Europe) we ran daily test/experimentation activities for its hardware/ software systems. I was a leading member of two separate research teams for Galaxy imaging. Working with several international teams of scientists and observing with observatories in India and abroad provided me experience in hardware/software experimentation and simulations.I love teaching applied Science and mentoring young adults is a passion. I have worked with dozens of engineers from BITS Pilani-Goa. I also dabble into skill-gap between schools and work, and connection between science, communities, and economics connecting them.
