Dr. Ashish Kumar is working as R&D Engineer - Radio System Engineering at imec the Netherlands. Recently awarded a Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from IIT Roorkee, India, and holding an M.Tech in Communication and Signal Processing from IIT Indore, he brings a wealth of expertise to his role.His research journey spans signal processing for LTE Communication and biomedical signals, microwave circuit designs, software-defined radio, and radio over fiber. Notably, his doctoral focus on Analog and Digital Predistortion methods led to the successful design and fabrication of analog Predistorters, optimizing RF Power Amplifiers for high bandwidth signals. His integration of digital predistortion systems resulted in energy-efficient transmission systems, garnering recognition through publications in reputable journals.He has hands-on experience on PCB Board, Vector network Analyzer and Spectrum Analyzers from Keysight, various software-defined radios, including AD9371 from Analog Devices, ZCU 111 from xilinx, Arbitrary waveform generator, M8195 from Keysight. He is adept in MATLAB for signal processing and Advance Design System (ADS) tool from Keysight, which he leverages for designing microwave circuits for analog predistortion in power amplifiers.Beyond technical realms, Dr. Kumar is passionate about contributing to the broader spectrum of human advancement.
