Day security at Hearst San Simeon State Historical Monument. Duties include enforcement of museum rules and regulations, using the radio to notify other employees of potential situations, and customer service/visitor assistance (such as answering questions, resolving emergency situations, escorting visitors on foot or with a vehicle, or attending to medical situations.)

Duties include grading and alphabetizing student papers, entering grades and other data through aspreadsheet system, scanning, photocopying and editing pages with Adobe Acrobat, academic research, andtyping for long periods of time in order to digitize 18th and 19th century documents.

Hired for textbook retrieval and distribution. Duties included heavy lifting, alphabetizing inventory, order processing and misc. manual tasks.
