Responsible for functional management and development of subsea hardware engineering resources and governance of discipline practices and procedures. Provide leadership to Lead Discipline Engineers, and have functional oversight of the performance of all discipline engineering in their assigned business grouping. Acts as a discipline subject matter expert to support and drive engineering excellence across wider organisation.

Lead team of 7 subsea hardware engineers working on a number of Anadarko/Oxy projects. Duties include: - Resource allocation, CTRs, cost estimates; - Created and reviewed design and project documentation on FEED and Execution phases of projects;- Oversee all hardware vendors and suppliers used for our project scopes to ensure company specs are followed and consistent execution is seen across each vendor. - Work closely with client and subsea system suppliers to design robust solutions and ensure requirements are understood and met;- Supported offshore hardware maintenance and remediation scopes to maintain life of field;- Project management on small projects.

Work in the Anadarko Deepwater GOM Facilities team to develop subsea facilties for new and existing fields. Work scope includes managing facilities hardware from Pre-FEED through Installation and Commissioning of both Greenfield and Brownfield developments. Systems hardware lead for several fields including the following work scopes: Trees, Tubing Hangers, Tree Caps, Wireline plugs, Manifolds, PLET/PLEM, Jumpers, Connectors, Completion systems, Tree controls systems, Subsea distribution, Production/Export Flowlines, Injection Systems, HPHT, Subsea pumping, Acid stimulations, and topside interfaces. Task include:-Subsea hardware interface lead for several GOM projects at once.-Offshore installation of subsea infrastructure-Managing interfaces between vendors, sub-vendors and project team.-Forecasting for future developments based on ever changing vendor delivery timelines. -Cost estimates -Budget management of vendor and services companies scopes related to on going brownfield project support. -Review and Approval of vendor documentation.-Coordinate with Drilling and Completions team to manage rig schedule and ensure alignment with subsea hardware deliveries. -Provide over site of vendor supplied components and materials with respect to quality, cost and schedule.-Track customer property and available components to be utilized in field interventions-Generate mobilizations of customer property and refurbishments to get equipment back to usable condition-Assist in Pre-FEED/FEED study for future field developments-Coordinate with engineering team to ensure cross-system interfaces are properly addresses and completed.

- Interact with customer project teams consisting of Facility, Production, Drilling and Completion, and Operation Engineers to develop production systems. - Work with Project Team and Product Design Engineers to ensure all products are design to meet customer specifications while complying with all industry and company standards. - Develop and Modify project specific engineering documents including Functional Design Specifications, Assembly Procedures, Test Procedures, Master Equipment List, Test Matrix, Detail Drawings, P&ID and Materials Documentation.- Oversee qualification program for new VMXT System. Includes all internal and external vendors for 15K Subsea Tree, Tubing Head Spool and Wellhead System. - Responsible for ensuring all components are qualified to API/ISO/DNV standards; includes gap closure between customer and industry specifications.- Work with Project Management to develop production schedules, resource planning and cost impacts throughout the project life.

- Rotations through six subsea product groups in Houston including Tree's Projects/Aftermarket, Connectors, Manifolds, Tree's Product Development, Wellheads and our Research and Development Center. - Manufacturing, Assembly and Testing Rotations in Berwick, LA and Leeds, UK. Including SIT, FAT, Non-Conformance Issue Resolve and Production Assembly- Subsea Controls rotation in Celle, Germany. - Throughout all of the rotations, I worked on numerous projects and had many different responsibilities. Each rotation was different and provided a large overview and understanding of subsea systems.

I worked for a small privately owned Process Engineering firm based in Wilmington, NC. The engineering team traveled to different companies on a project by project basis providing onsite engineering help. During my internship I worked at Archer Daniels Midland. I provided them with a water well design to help supplement their large monthly water bill from the city. The well design would pay for itself in 32 months’ time and ultimately was implemented a short time after my internship ended.
