Provide therapy services for a caseload of 10 to 13 children and adolescents who have survived sexual and/or physical abuse through the use of Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Also provide therapy for the protective caregiver(s) of the children for parenting and other trauma-related issues.

Successfully managed a caseload of approximately 160 people in the Civil Probation unit. Duties included regular face-to-face, telephone, and letter contact with each probationer as well as precise documentation of payment histories and office visits. Frequently assisted the Court Officers in the 321st District Court and County Court at Law #2, provided court testimony, and conducted orientation to the probation process for new probationers.

Assisted in departmental research, study administration, and data entry. Research areas included ADHD, attachment, and parent-child interaction. Duties included learning to administer the Parent/Child Interaction Assessment (PCIA), writing grant proposals, direct contact with participants, record keeping, filing, and spreadsheet preparation.
