Similar to my role below, but I managed more of the strategic side of my accounts, often working closely with an Account Manager who managed the day-to-day. I also managed a team of four.

As a Senior Account Manager at Nomensa my role involved nurturing and building client relationships and having a strategic view on my portfolio of accounts to help clients achieve their goals. I worked closely with the bid team on new opportunities for my clients, writing proposals and pitching, and closely with the practitioners and Project Managers working on my live projects to ensure we were always working to client objectives.My clients included NHS Digital, NHS Test & Trace, Dept. of Work and Pensions, Girlguiding and Penguin Random House.

As Account Director at Talent Nexus I headed up the Growth Accounts team and between us we managed the aggregator activity, Google Ads, content marketing and social media for job boards, recruitment consultancies and direct clients.

After a successful sales career I moved into marketing to broaden my advertising knowledge and learn new skills. Having always volunteered I am passionate about charity work and was keen to move into the third sector to do this. I managed the charity's social media channels and display marketing, as well as implementing Google Ads after applying for a Google Grant.

Whilst working at The Telegraph Media Group I was responsible for online and offline revenues, working to hit revenue targets and protect share through strong relationships across media agencies. I sold cross-media solutions in a varied media landscape: digital, mobile, video, programmatic and print media.

Initially, I worked in Classified print sales on Stuff Magazine before working my way up to Classified, then Display and finally Agency sales across the Motoring brands: WhatCar? and Autocar. I cultivated excellent working relationships with many of my agency contacts, and was recommended to The Telegraph Media Group by one of my clients.

I worked in a small team selling digital and print advertising solutions to numerous clients across The Grocer and GrocerJobs.co.uk.

This role was maternity cover. I worked within a busy office providing administrative support to the business' financial, technical and sales teams. This included being the first point of contact for incoming calls and emails from customers and suppliers, raising purchase orders, sales orders and invoices, and organising logistics and couriers.
