My name is Ashley Harvey and I am a senior at Worcester State University majoring in English and Spanish with a minor in Theatre. I am a Writing Consultant at the Writing Center at Worcester State University. In this role, I help students at all levels and from different disciplines with their writing at all stages of the writing process, from brainstorming to final edits. I am also a playwright having written 6 plays, two of which I have produced and directed. I am an editorial intern for the academic journal Currents in Teaching and Learning in the Fall of 2024. My goal is to be an editor specializing in literature after graduating in May of 2025. I am currently looking for Spanish internships within the publishing industry or education for the Spring of 2025.
