Provide Independent Living Services, peer counseling to individuals with disabilities who are a part of the state's Transition to Community Living Initiative (TCLI). Collaboratively work with LMCO Eastpointe to prevent individuals with SMI from returning to institutional care. Actively empower consumers to reach their goals and promote equal inclusion in the community of their choice.

Recruit, hire, train personal assistants. Process payroll, distribute pay, and ensure compliance with regulations.

Processed intakes into Signal Centers' employment program, and assessed individuals with disabilities’ needs. Helped clients create appropriate career training interventions to prepare for employment. This included activities such as resume building, interview skills, job search, and sharpening soft skills. Throughout this process, I coordinated with the assistive technology department to evaluate which technology could help clients live more independent lives at home or on the job. In August I planned, implemented, and began leading a psychoecucational group. The weekly group focused on enhancing clients' job readiness.
