Monitor high-risk patients, assist them in getting to groups, provide redirection to reduce inappropriate behaviors on the unit, and motivate engagement to reduce AMA/ACA's. Report outcomes to the Program Director, Director of Nursing, and RA Supervisor via daily emails. Facilitate groups and document for the chart. Relate and communicate effectively with patients in a treatment setting. Participate in recovery-oriented socialization via informal interactions with patients, circulating in the program to monitor patient activity and ensure adherence to program guidelines. Document observations, activities, and participation in appropriate records, including the patient record, shift logs, and the preparation of incident reports. Work closely with and provide support to the counseling team. Meet with patients individually when appropriate. Ability to work and maintain boundaries in settings populated by substance abuse and mental healthpatients.

Facilitate patient educational groups, recovery-oriented socialization, maintaining the safety and well-being of patients, prepare electronic data management forms, records, and other documentation, provide oversight and supervision of RA staff in absence of department supervisor.
