Serves as partnership manager for all teachers, staff, parents, and service providers regarding any therapy or related services provided to students through an IEP or 504 Plan. Adheres to federal and state procedures, timelines, and all required reporting regarding the acquisition and provision of services to students. -MVCA’s provider manager throughout the state of Michigan within both the private sector and local school districts; Maintains a current, accurate database of related service providers.-Negotiates rates with providers based on the market value of services rendered.-Establishes contracts as appropriate; Ensures existing contracts are compliant.-Maintains awareness of current related services expenditures and annual budget guidelines.-Ensures appropriate placement of all students requiring any related services within guidelines for timeframe and provider proximity.-Ensures appropriate distribution of most current Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, quarterly progress reports, and other information to all appropriate stakeholders.-Works with therapists/families when conflicts arise; Works with lead teachers on IEP requirements for related service goals and services; Works with school psychologist during the evaluation process.-Works directly with the Business Manager and Special Education Director on verification and approval of all related service bills; Maintains database of all related services, invoices, and students. -Continuously researching related service options available in the virtual setting. -Reviews Powerschool documents and creates profiles for all staff.-Serves as a State Testing site lead. Working closely with school administrators, faculty, and staff to ensure testing procedures and protocols are followed. Handling scheduling and organizing testing, and ensuring that the testing environment is conducive for students.

- Design and implement 2 community teen groups for individuals in the community with disabilities to learn socialization skills- Design and implement camp for children with disabilities (ages 3-10) to be run at Old Trail Schools- Collaborate with libraries to present guide on iPads and their use with the special needs population- Market (Old Trail Schools Camp, Teen groups, & Hattie’s Preschool)- Gather information and paperwork to pursue a 5 star rating for Hattie’s Preschool for Step Up To Quality certification. Attend meetings, trainings, and learn the ins and outs of the new step up to quality requirements. Also complete all required forms and gather required documentation.- Ensure Hattie’s Preschool is in compliance with all ODJFS licensing policies. - Tours to new and prospective families/clients for camp programs, community programs and Hattie’s Preschool.- Conducting program assessments. Preform PQA (HighScope’s program quality assessment) and the PAS (Program Administration Scale) quarterly.- Collecting payments/recording revenue for Hattie’s Preschool, Teen groups, and Old Trail Schools Camp.- Acting in staff ratio when needed

With 12 iPads, an iPod, AppleTV, a SmartBoard, and touch screen computers it is my responsibility to keep all of them functional, and stay up to date on new apps and programs available that are appropriate for our many populations serviced (preschool-in house residence). Also create presentation to present throughout the country on iPads and their use with people with Special Needs.
