•Leadership role for the Active and Safe Routes to School project, a project designed to use a scientific approach in developing novel policies for active and safe travel to school in the London community.•Conducted research and created a test-retest validation protocol that was implemented by the lab when surveying London parents and students to assess the strengths of existing policies.•Received excellent results after creating targeted marketing materials encouraging parents and students to participate in the surveys and for moderating the related group survey discussions.

•Conducted research by mining various databases to retrieve information relevant to a Public Health Agency Project (Homelessness Counts), a project focusing on accurately reflecting health outcomes related to homelessness. •Studied, analyzed, and synthesized appropriate data.•Contributed to scope review for final research paper.

Displayed great versatility in planning and running very different camps, doing so often with short planning times as camp enrolment fluctuated greatly due to covid-19, thereby resulting in the reallocation of resources as needed.
