Ceph Proof-of-Concept (POC) Project for IFE (In-Flight Entertainment) System - Developed a POC shared data storage cluster using Ceph to mimic the future performance of on flight Line Replaceable Units (LRU’s) using a similar system, as a collaboration with three other interns from different teams - Tested a multiple Raspberry Pi network (range 3-20 Pis) over a 10G Ethernet bridge, using 3 file sharing protocols (Erasure Coding, RBD, Ceph FS Replication) to benchmark performance of the Ceph network - Automated FIO filesystem benchmarking with shell scripts to evaluate cluster performance and analyze changes in testing parameters such as I/O throughput, thread count, and I/O queuing depth in the OS Automating Power Interrupt Testing Project - Developed an automated tool to conduct required power interrupt testing of the seatbox to save time and cost - Utilized Python to prototype, InfluxDB as a time-series database, Grafana to visualize testing results, Docker to containerize the program, and Node.js as the backend - Controlled test & measurement equipment (AC power supply, DC electronic load, oscilloscope, power scope, passive voltage probe) remotely with SCPI commands
