Greater Memphis Area

As a certified data furnisher, I investigate consumer credit disputes with two ways: indirect disputes and direct disputes. With indirect disputes, I respond to Automated Credit Dispute Verification (ACDV) made by CRAs. With direct disputes, I read letters from customers to determine if further investigation is needed. I help customers improve their account history, credit scores, or chances of life altering purchases when I remove negative marks.

This was a temp-to-hire position in the collections department via Protech Systems Group from December 2017 to April 2018. The position became permanent in May 2018. I process credit and debit card payments and payment extensions for customers. I mail notices to customers. I preside over the returned mail by processing them and making notes in the system. I create daily reports to upper level management and weekly reports for collector agents.

I contacted schools from all over the United States. I asked main contacts of each of those schools qualifying questions (i.e. usage, budget) to see if they are a good candidate for the planners. I managed the amount of samples to go to each school to save printing costs. I exceeded the deadline goal of qualifying over 400 schools by two months.

I contacted residences, businesses, daycares, and schools to see if they could be a coordinator for a St. Jude Fundraising. I recruited for the following programs: Cruisin' for St. Jude, St. Jude Walkathon, St. Jude Trikeathon, St. Jude Mathathon, Game Day. Give Back. for St. Jude, and Dream Home for St. Jude. In addition, I served a few stints as a Coordinator Support team member, where I do follow ups on coordinators and their events. I was ranked consistently in the top 10 for number of recruits while maintaining a high rate of quality and commitment in phone calls. Also, I recruited an elementary school to do the Mathathon, who raised over $5,500 for St. Jude.

I contacted alumni all over the country to share university news and ask for monetary donations. I processed credit card payments and made requests to send out cards for check or money order donations.
