The Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure and Operations (MCIO) Buy Desk supports all of MCIO in procuring datacenter business needs such as hardware, software, network, and professional services. My role is to assist project owners in navigating the procurement process while ensuring compliance with Microsoft corporate policies, MCIO purchasing policies, and SOX-related requirements. This includes but not limited to: training project owners on purchase order (PO) creation via MyOrder, quality assurance, facilitating approvals, contract scrubbing, contract routing via DocuSign, and vendor on-boarding.
