About Ashlyn Stevens

My experience with the Federal Emergency Management Agency has allowed me to perform grant audits and project validation for Public Assistance grants to ensure recovery operations to support State, Territorial, Tribal, and local governments recovering from disasters. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I developed and executed the North Texas Food Bank's Mobile Pantry COVID-19 Direct Disaster Response Program that provided life-saving and sustaining food to insecure families and communities while driving the organization’s strategy, resulting in exceeding the organization’s meal distribution goal 5 years early. I also have extensive experience in formal and informal public education during my time at Dallas College North Lake Campus as a biology lab instructor and at the Dallas Zoo as a Conservation Interpretive Guide.
