Conducted research focusing on investigating the auto-ignition characteristics of gasoline surrogate fuels, and creating a computational code that generates reduced kinetic mechanisms. The project was funded by Saudi Aramco.

Conducted a doctoral research focusing on investigating reactive systems’ dynamics. Developed a rational geometrical reduction-based technique to create the space which correspond to the exact description of the slow dynamics of a reactive system. Elucidated the relation between reaction dynamics and classical thermodynamics. The work was funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Conducted research focusing on modeling chemically reactive flows. Developed a robust spatial eigenvalue based method to determine the required spatial resolution to capture all physical scales in reactive flow problems. This project was funded by the Center for Applied Mathematics (CAM).

Conducting research focusing on simulating laminar premixed flames described by detailed kinetic mechanisms and multi-components transport model.

Developed a numerical model to predict cavitation inception in a high-pressure high-speed axial piston pump used in advanced aerospace applications. The work was funded by Honeywell Inc.
