In just about every job I have had, I have found myself getting promoted to leadership roles very quickly. I never was a self-proclaimed leader just from my own imposter syndrome, but now working with Jostens as a manager, I have come to realize I am capable of leading a team and am skilled in being a leader. My confidence has grown and I've even managed well with.being put in difficult positions where I've had to have tough conversations with my employees, something I never thought I'd be capable of.I love to be hands on, doing admin work is like a fun puzzle to me, and I love serving others in any capacity, food or service. My desire is to work more with my degree in a creative arts field be it photography or videography but I'm finding I have many passions and ideas that branch away from that, even. I love learning new skills and it takes everything in me to not go back to college to take more classes in anything and everything (looking at the cost helps with that as well).

Hub ManagerJostens Aug 2024 - PresentOlathe, Kansas, United StatesI was hired as a photographer, during the week of in-person training I showed great skill in both attention to detail and ability to learn processes quickly and was promoted to Lead Photographer for events. At the end of the week on Friday, our manager said he was quitting. That following Monday I was asked to fill the role of Hub Manager. I then became in charge of scheduling, team management, hiring, administrative work and being willing to fill in and travel wherever needed in my teams area (within 200 miles of Olathe, Kansas). Without proper training, prior to the start of the season, I have learned quickly and been able to manage a successful hub.
