Hi, I am Asmita. I am a Management Consulting Analyst at Accenture Strategy & Consulting, where I spend most of my time in understanding client’s key problems and developing tailored solutions for them majorly revolving around Digital Transformation. I also actively engage myself in driving business development, strategically targeting growth opportunities and partnerships across diverse market segments. I was also a Summer Analyst in the same team during my B-School summer internship and was offered a PPO (pre-placement offer) for a full-time role.I have done my MBA in International Business, majoring in Strategy & Marketing, from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi. During my MBA, I have actively participated in a multitude of business case competitions which has truly enhanced my problem-solving, critical thinking, teamwork, communication and presentation skills, fostering adaptability, strategic planning, and decision-making. In addition to this, I have been a proactive member of various committees, performing a long list of activities ranging from event planning, management, to mentoring.I have prior experience in the oil and gas industry working for ExxonMobil. As a Flow Assurance Engineer there, I worked on critical projects and production support for optimum recovery while addressing Flow Assurance-related issues by collaborating with people from all across the globe. My efforts have helped the organization reduce CAPEX and OPEX by multi-million dollars.I am a chemical engineer by background and a people person (read: ambivert) by nature. My obsession with planning and organization and never-ending excitement about collaborating with new people have perpetually pushed me to do more than just engineering. I have actively participated in numerous events and led various organizing committees while at work and in college. As I step into the domain of Strategy Consulting, I look forward to developing a global mindset while tackling large, dynamic, and abstract strategic problems. Most importantly, I want to excel in understanding the psychology behind consumer behavior, as I believe it engenders continuous innovation and consequently helps in designing the best solutions for them. On a personal front, a generalist to the core, I have tried my hand at quite a few things - art, vocals, musical instruments, dancing, cooking, yoga, ...
